LEARNING CHALLENGES:
depression and anxiety

Depression and anxiety can be experienced by children in ways that may not be obvious to adults. Through observation, interviews and testing, school psychologists can identify children who are depressed and/or anxious. School psychologists can help the anxious or depressed child through individual counselling or through referral to outside agencies/professionals who specialize in children's mental health.
