LEARNING CHALLENGES

The learning profile of each student is unique and each student is uniquely challenged to succeed to the best of their ability, given the resources and constraints posed in any learning environment. The unique learning challenges of students may be complicated by many different factors including such things as genetic history, past experience, neurological conditions, physical health and mental well being. Psychologists are often asked to provide assessments of student learning profiles and to make recommendations for enhanced learning opportunities within an inclusive learning environment. Common conditions or factors that may pose challenges to learning are listed below and explanatory information is provided.
