LEARNING CHALLENGES:
school and family violence

Violence in schools has been on the increase over the last several years. School psychologists can help school administrators deal with the problem in proactive ways. For example, they offer social skills training groups, to help students learn to interact in more socially appropriate ways. They also consult to school and parent committees, to develop programs to reduce violence in their school.
